Today, I sent a bit of financial support to an Open Source project that I have a huge amount of respect for (and bought a cool t-shirt, too!). I'm not able to afford much, but I want to show the project in some way how much I appreciate all that they do. If you are able to support a project like this, please do! And of course, not all support has to be financial. Most of the people who work on software that we use every single day do it for free and in their own time.

Und durch meine Rolle kann ich direkt Einfluss nehmen - raus aus der Cloud, weg von bigtech, pro opensource, am Besten onpremises, Zugang zu Daten und Systemen am Besten nur über Intranet und nie ohne Login, es sei denn, es handelt sich um opendata relevantes, nicht kritisches.

After Funda and Rabobank, now a public collective for emergency controlrooms has made their app inactive on open source OS's. Caught by @rikviergever from @murena .

We can't keep being dependent on two US big tech companies. If we want more digital sovereignty, we'll need to invest in mobile alternatives.
